Knowledge bite #7: A closer look at patient co-creation and workflow integration.

Imagine you have COPD and want to monitor your health. You take a breath test at home, but notice something has changed. Would you find it useful? What happens next? Who sees the result, and when?

These are some of the questions our partners at NeLL/LUMC are exploring. In this Knowledge Bite, Atena Mahboubian explains how Breath-Sense could fit into COPD care, drawing on conversations and co-creation sessions with patients and healthcare professionals.

One lesson from the co-creation sessions was simple: ask people what they need, and be ready for answers you hadn’t expected! Their feedback is helping the Breath-Sense team shape both the device and how it could be used in care.

The video explores a possible journey from testing at home to sharing results and discussing how patients are feeling with their care team.

Watch it to hear what patients and healthcare professionals have taught us so far.
